Job Description

The President plays a central role in the strategic and operational leadership, often working closes with the CEO, Board of Directors, and other Senior Executives. The President will ensure that the organization has the polices, procedures, internal controls, segregation of duties, and systems in place to support effective program implementation and to ensure successful client operations and compliance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the direct management of several key administrative support functions within the government contracting and managed services industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, focusing on financial, HR, IT, Contracts Management and compliance functions to drive operational efficiency.Lead a high performing team ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and values.Develop and implement strategic plans, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure compliance with regulations.Coordinate resources for service delivery, including technology and human resources, to enhance service qualityFoster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring the organization remains competitive and effective.Qualifications And RequirementsMinimum of 7 years’ Executive Management level experienceA minimum of 3 years of working with a geographically dispersed workforce resulting in positive change/efficiency for an organization.The ideal candidate has experience with federal government contracting experience.Previous experience working in a leadership position of a managed services organization(s) or private equity.A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with executive level officials in a project-oriented setting with dynamic timelines.EducationMBA or JD required.CompetenciesLeading Organization Problem Solving/AnalysisPersonal Effectiveness/Credibility Legal Contract Expertise Leadership and NavigationFostering Teamwork and Building Collaborative Relationships Ethical PracticeEmpowers Others Balanced Decision Making NegotiationsDeal-makingSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position does have direct supervisory responsibility over management level staff. This position also has oversight of several projects and may be the initial point of contact for individuals engaged in those activities.Work EnvironmentThis position will be a hybrid role (office and home) with work primarily from the Chantilly, Virginia office location.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.Occasionally moves about inside the home or office location to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.May move office equipment up to 30 pounds.Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position that will require a minimum of 40 hours per week. Hours of work can be set by the individual; however, they should fall within the core hours of 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Attendance at meetings or other events may necessitate a change in standard hours.TravelTravel will be required on an as needed basis for business and client needs as necessary.
