When you average that out, that's an investment of $3.8 million every day!He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About this roleReporting to the Manager Asset Lifecycle, the focus of this role is the development and implementation of Watercare’s Asset Lifecycle Framework by leading a whole-of-life and evidence-based approach to processes, publications, technical decisions.This role is key to ensuring quality in design and construction of our assets to support our long-term growth and sustainability outcomes.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeProviding expert technical competency and guidanceManaging and developing Watercare’s Engineering Standards Framework (ESF)Leading the development of key water and wastewater engineering standards and guidelinesLeading the approval of products and equipment for application within Watercare’s asset base. Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About youTo be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and a genuine commitment to improvement.You Will Have The FollowingBachelor of Engineering or equivalent professional qualification (potentially mechanical engineering or similarly broad discipline)10+ years relevant experience in infrastructure focused or product design, design management, construction (or DBO), technical procurementUnderstanding of Root Cause Analysis, Asset Condition and Criticality Assessment PracticesWorking experience of Standards Compliance, Quality Assurance and Training Competency FrameworksProject management experience.
