Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Principal Business Analyst - Digital Transformation, to lead initiatives aimed at reimagining and optimizing our strategic planning, capital & capacity planning processes. This role is central to shaping the future of our operations by introducing advanced methodologies, including artificial intelligence, to drive smarter, more agile decision-making across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and articulate a comprehensive transformation roadmap for the global A/T strategic capacity planning, integrating AI-driven approaches to enhance forecasting, scenario modeling, and resource optimization.Lead workshops and stakeholder engagements to align on transformation goals, identify pain points, and co-create future-state processes.Apply deep expertise in capacity planning systems and industrial engineering principles to evaluate current practices and recommend improvements.Collaborate with data science, operations, and business teams to ensure AI solutions are grounded in operational realities and deliver measurable impact.Translate strategic vision into actionable initiatives, guiding teams through change management and process redesign.Benchmark industry best practices and emerging technologies to inform transformation strategies.Provide thought leadership and mentorship to engineering and planning teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in operations, or transformation roles, with a strong focus on capacity planning.Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives, ideally involving AI or advanced analytics.Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environments.Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a consultancy environment, with a proven track record of delivering transformation projects across diverse industries or clients.Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in operational planning.Knowledge of supply chain systems and planning tools is a plus.Certifications in project management, operations, supply chain, or transformation methodologies (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, APICS, CSCP).About Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
