Role Summary:The Principal DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for driving efficiency across the software development and release lifecycle by modernizing processes, streamlining workflows, and building a robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. This role provides strategic guidance on securing, organizing, and automating existing product development workflows, and requires strong proficiency in agile methodologies and industry best practices. The ultimate goal is to enable a seamless transition from a traditional operating model to a fully integrated DevSecOps approach that enhances agility, security, and scalability across the organization.We are looking for intellectually curious individuals, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios. If you are a creative and a problem solver, this is the place to be as it will be assisting you to progress your career.Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:Develops knowledge and understanding of technologies in LSEG and utilises these in own scope of work, with others as well as to create solutions.Design, Implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and deployment pipeline.Develops a reusable CI/CD framework that empowers Development teams to accelerate development and reduce reliance on DevSecOps team.Integrates security standards, monitoring, and alerting capabilities into the CI/CD framework to ensure robust and compliant operations.Collaborates closely with Development teams and the Centralized DevSecOps team to ensure alignment with established practices and fulfillment of all requirements.Builds strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders through close collaboration. Communicates clearly and consistently to ensure shared understanding of information and tasks, proactively asking questions when clarification is needed.Required Qualifications & Experience:Professional qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.Experience developing infrastructure as code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform.Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Solid grasp of DevSecOps principles with the ability to apply them effectively across assigned work.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Desired Experience:Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language.Hands-on experience integrating with DevSecOps tools such as Datadog, BigPanda, Semgrep, and Black Duck.Relevant certifications are a plus, including:Microsoft Azure CertificationAWS CertificationDevSecOps-related certifications (e.g., DevSecOps Foundation, Certified DevSecOps Professional)Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
