Our design team is at the forefront of creating bold, intelligent, and emotionally resonant work for some of the world's most innovative companies.Role OverviewYou're a commercially minded ecommerce expert, embedded within one of our key clients to help shape, transform, and grow their digital retail business. You'll bring the rigour of an agency practitioner with the empathy and adaptability of an in-house partner — driving measurable impact across conversion, customer experience, and operational performance.You act as the bridge between the client's business and Beyond's multidisciplinary teams, ensuring strategy, experience, and technology align to deliver results. You'll lead initiatives that optimise every stage of the ecommerce funnel, turning insights into action and building the momentum needed to modernise and scale.Core ResponsibilitiesEcommerce Strategy & Performance:Define and evolve the ecommerce strategy in partnership with client stakeholders — aligning commercial goals with customer needs and digital opportunitiesAnalyse performance data and key metrics (traffic, conversion, retention, AOV, margin) to identify growth levers and prioritise actionsShape and implement initiatives that improve onsite experience, merchandising, and conversion rate optimisationCollaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to ensure campaigns and new launches are data-led and performance-orientedMaintain a clear view of KPIs, forecasting, and reporting to demonstrate measurable business impactTransformation & Optimisation:Champion ecommerce transformation within the client's organisation — helping evolve their ways of working, tools, and digital maturityEvaluate and optimise the ecommerce ecosystem — from platform and integrations to analytics, logistics, and customer service touchpointsPartner with Beyond's strategy, design, and technology teams to shape and deliver new digital initiatives, pilots, and enhancementsContinuously assess industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to keep the client's ecommerce proposition ahead of the curveClient Partnership & Collaboration:Act as the primary ecommerce contact for client stakeholders, building trusted relationships across marketing, digital, and operationsTranslate complex data and performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior decision-makersCoordinate with internal Beyond teams to ensure alignment between strategy, delivery, and client objectives. Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, and business reviews that drive collaboration and accountabilityLeadership & Internal Impact:Represent Beyond's ecommerce expertise within the client organisation — demonstrating our capability, professionalism, and thought leadership. Contribute to new business opportunities by identifying growth areas, framing challenges, and supporting proposals or presentationsShare learnings and best practices with internal teams, helping strengthen Beyond's ecommerce offering and approachMentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across both agency and client environmentsRequirementsWhat Makes You Stand OutProven experience managing or transforming ecommerce operations in an agency, consultancy, or brand-side environmentStrong grasp of ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce, or similar) and digital performance tools (GA4, Looker, etc.)A commercial mindset — you understand the drivers of online retail success and can balance short-term performance with long-term growthA confident communicator and facilitator, equally comfortable presenting to executives or collaborating with delivery teamsAnalytical and data-driven, with a sharp eye for opportunities to improve experience, conversion, and revenueCurious, adaptable, and proactive — you don't just identify problems; you bring clarity, direction, and energy to solving themBenefitsRemote-First at BeyondWe operate a remote-first model.
