About the CompanyOur client is a well-established, family-owned group of schools in Midrand, Gauteng, comprising an Independent Cambridge-accredited Primary School, two Preschools, and a Swim School.About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Headmaster to lead and manage the daily operations across all campuses. School size - just under 500 pupils. 150 in the two pre-schools, 349 in the primary school.ResponsibilitiesProvide visionary leadership and uphold the school’s ethos, values, and standardsOversee the academic, administrative, and operational functions of the Primary School, Preschools, and Swim SchoolDrive strategic planning, school improvement, and staff development initiativesEnsure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessmentManage admissions, marketing, and community relations to maintain strong stakeholder engagementOversee financial planning and resource allocation in collaboration with the school boardLead, motivate, and support staff to achieve excellence across all levels QualificationsA recognized teaching qualification and SACE registrationAt least 5 years of proven school management experience in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum (advantageous)Excellent understanding of educational best practices, child development, and school governanceSound knowledge of South African education regulations and compliance requirementsRequired SkillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to inspire, mentor, and guide staff and learnersHigh levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountabilityStrategic thinker with strong organizational skills and attention to detailA passion for quality education and a commitment to the holistic development of learners ```
