Principal Engineer, SMPS System Application

Infineon Korea is looking forward to working with an experienced talent, focusing on SMPS application, at Seoul office.Job DescriptionIn your new role you will:Intensive involvement in local design-in/win activities with Adaptor/Charger customers including providing system design proposal, preparing customized demo, on-site technical support, customer failure analysis support, etc.Develop and evaluate total solution in Adaptor/Charger platform with controllers (Primary PWM, Secondary SR, USB PD, etc.) and power discretes (HV MOSFET, LV MOSFET, GaN, etc.)Prepare and co-work on documentation to support Go-To-Market of Adaptor/Charger solutionsHands-on training to distributors FAE for Adaptor/Charger solutionPrepare competitive analysis of Infineon products, identify strengths and weaknesses, evaluate market needs vs product offering gap, contribute to new product definition by weighting the value of specific product features and parameters to customersIdentify customer's needs and opportunities to help future growthYour ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree in Power Electronics preferred)At least 10 years of related successful experience in SMPS, charger and adaptor applicationExcellent knowledge of charger and adaptor architecturesGood experience with power electronics system simulationHand-on debugging experience from system level down to component levelExcellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Korean#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
