Grow Your Clinical Expertise in a Dynamic Teaching Environment Join the General Medicine team at QEII Jubilee Hospital as a Principal House Officer. This full-time temporary role provides exposure to inpatient, outpatient and emergency medicine, including participation in a 24-hour acute care roster within a supportive teaching environment.Your New RoleAs a Principal House Officer (PHO) – General Medicine, you will deliver high-quality clinical care to patients across inpatient wards, the Emergency Department, and outpatient services at QEII Hospital. This role offers exposure to a broad range of acute and chronic medical presentations while working within a supportive and well-structured training environment.You WillManage the assessment, treatment, and ongoing care of medical inpatients and outpatients.Participate in the hospital's on-call and after-hours roster to provide acute medical coverage.Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care.Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and communication with patients, families, and primary care providers.Contribute to teaching, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.Promote safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the Division of Medical Services.
