Make a difference in the mechanical engineering field – apply today!Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with a background in Water Utilities to strengthen our mechanical capabilities on infrastructure projects. You will lead the delivery of mechanical design solutions for water supply and infrastructure, including pressurised mains, pumping stations, and treatment works equipment. Working in a dynamic, global design environment, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across various locations. Opportunities may also arise to contribute to broader MEP initiatives or take on client-facing/site-based roles within major infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities:•    Lead and mentor the mechanical design team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment•    Oversee the complete design lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely deliverables•    Drive recruitment efforts and support team development through coaching and structured growth plans•    Manage design planning and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders•    Uphold technical excellence, leveraging relevant tools and aligning with UK/international design standards•    Cultivate strong client relationships while guiding junior engineers through hands-on mentorship•    Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals and design outcomes•    Contribute to business development through proposal input, technical presentations, and client demosYour skills.
