The Development Services division within EDQ enables new housing, commercial and mixed-use development across Queensland through planning, development approvals and a significant infrastructure funding program.As Principal Planner you will contribute to EDQ's goals by: Providing specialist and complex strategic or statutory land use planning advice and services to facilitate outcomes. Preparing and presenting high quality professional written information, interpretations, briefings, presentations and reports. Working with stakeholders to facilitate timely and high-quality strategic or statutory land use planning outcomes. Contributing to the design and implementation of communication and negotiation strategies in complex stakeholder engagement processes. Providing recommendations on strategic and complex land use planning and development assessment matters. Preparing advice with respect to the Economic Development Act 2012 and other relevant strategic land use planning related policy instruments. Developing and implementing business processes improvements relevant to work practices. Coaching and mentoring colleagues within own area of expertise to promote team knowledge.
