If you are interested in this job we encourage you to read the attached role description and talk to the contact officer.In this role you will have the following responsibilities and accountabilities:Provide strategic advice on complex policy and legislative issues relating to child death cases and system responses to the Child Death Review Board, and other relevant stakeholders.Provide comprehensive analyses, summaries and consider trends in complex child death reviews, including coordinating research activities and projects to deliver key child protection system outcomes.Apply strong project management skills, sound governance practices and data integrity to complete reviews in a timely and impactful manner.Use culturally responsive methodologies appropriate for considering the case reviews, life stories, and system engagement for children, young people and vulnerable families, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from a culturally/ linguistically diverse background.Prepare information resources and deliver information sessions to stakeholders on the roles, responsibilities and functions of the Child Death Review Board.Formulate recommendations and prepare complex written reports and correspondence relating to the safety, wellbeing and best interests of children, young people and familiesAPPLICANTS ARE REQUESTED TO APPLY ONLINE – scroll down and click the ‘APPLY ONLINE' button.
