Privacy Lawyer

We are working with a global SaaS organisation seeking a Privacy Counsel to join their growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to shape and deliver a practical, forward-thinking privacy program within a fast-moving and collaborative technology environment.In this role, you will provide strategic and operational advice on data protection matters across the business, ensuring global compliance while supporting commercial objectives. You will take ownership of key elements of the organisation’s privacy framework, including policy development, consent management, certification maintenance, and complex data subject requests.You will also lead privacy impact assessments for new projects and partners, design engaging privacy training initiatives, and collaborate with teams across Legal, Compliance, Security, and Data Governance to embed a culture of smart, responsible data use.Key Requirements: • Qualified lawyer in an EU jurisdiction with 5+ years’ experience in privacy and data protection law • Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, and wider international privacy frameworks • Proven ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice for the business • Experience advising on privacy within a technology or SaaS environment • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing prioritie
