Private Equity Fund Accountant

Our client is an established fund accounting and administration service provider to private equity funds and venture capital. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for Fund Accountants (Junior/Senior) and the role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Key responsibilities:Work closely with other team members to support the financial statements preparation and other reportsCompiling and analysis of financial information underlying the financial statements, including the treatment of business transactionsPrepared fund correspondence and notices, ensure permanent files are adequately maintained for new and existing clientsSupport the team and clients on other reports such as fund correspondence and notices etcRecord transactions such as bookkeeping of invoices, bank reconciliations, fund transactions analysis etcLiaise with clients to request accounting documents and enquiriesKey requirements2-6 years of accounting experience. Open for candidates coming from audit background with private equity fund experiencesAccounting degree or qualification from a recognized professional accounting bodyDiligent, self-motivated and positive attitude
