Private Equity Investment Associate, SEA focus

The Investment Associate will be an integral member of the SEA focused Private Equity Direct Investment team, responsible for supporting the full investment lifecycle — from origination and execution to portfolio management and exit. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in dynamic, cross-border environments.Key Responsibilities:Investment Analysis & ExecutionConduct industry research, market mapping, and competitive analyses across Southeast Asia.Build detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comparables, LBO).Support due diligence processes by coordinating with internal teams and external advisors (legal, tax, technical, and commercial).Prepare investment committee materials and presentation decks articulating key findings, risks, and recommendations.Assist in structuring and negotiating investment terms, documentation, and financing arrangements.Portfolio ManagementSupport ongoing monitoring of portfolio company performance through financial and operational KPIs.Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive strategic initiatives, business expansion, and value creation plans.Assist with periodic reporting, valuations, and exit preparation activities.Requirements:BA/BS with strong academic qualifications.At least 2-4 years of working experience at a leading investment bank or in the Private Equity industryExcellent financial analysis and modelling skillsStrong commercial judgmentA team-player, with maturity, integrity and the ability to engage with senior counterpartiesStrong written and oral communication skillsWell-organized, hard-working, self-starter, with an ability to work independently
