The Process Engineer will lead efforts to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and reduce waste. As the primary driver of lean process improvements, they ensure safe, sustainable, and compliant integration of new products and solutions.Client DetailsMy client is a small, but growing, Industrial Manufacturing company based in the Rochester, NH area. They are known in the industry for their technical excellence, producing highly precise parts and components used by customers in industries such as aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, and oil & gas.DescriptionThe Process Engineer will:Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across production lines.Develop, document, and maintain process specifications, work instructions, and control plans.Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues related to materials, equipment, and processes.Evaluate and recommend changes to materials, tooling, and equipment to improve quality and reduce cost and scrap.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and process issues.Support capital equipment justification and layout planning for production improvements.Ensure all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.ProfileA successful Process Engineer should have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and setup reduction.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environments.Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Proficiency in technical writing and presenting process improvement plans.
