Process Engineer – Advanced Space Manufacturing 📍 Vilnius, Lithuania 💼 Full-time | Engineering & ProductionA growing aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to strengthen its production and industrialisation capability. The role involves developing efficient, repeatable processes for complex satellite systems, covering every stage from design through to assembly, integration, and testing.About the RoleYou’ll play a key part in improving how satellites and subsystems are built — analysing production performance, reducing waste, and supporting scalable, high-quality manufacturing.Reviewing production workflows and resolving inefficiencies using data-driven analysis.Implementing lean and continuous improvement tools to streamline operations.Developing and maintaining documentation for assembly, integration, and testing procedures.Acting as a technical lead for process improvement projects.Working cross-functionally with design, quality, and production teams to ensure components are manufacturable and testable.Liaising with suppliers to specify and validate new tooling, equipment, and materials.Investigating process deviations and leading corrective or preventive actions.What You’ll NeedDegree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within a high-reliability environment such as aerospace, electronics, or automotive.Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA methods.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret production data and drive improvements.Good communication skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.Desirable SkillsExperience defining PCB assembly or automated production processes.Understanding of environmental and functional testing (vibration, thermal, EMC).Familiarity with ERP systems and digital process tools.Background in process automation or production management.💰 Salary: €43,000 – €59,000 gross per year (depending on experience and ability).What’s on OfferFlexible working hours with remote work possibilities.Modern facilities focused on low-volume, high-complexity production.Exposure to international space programmes and global partnerships.Genuine opportunities for professional growth and internal mobility.Access to technical training, industry events, and skill development workshops.A collaborative culture that values initiative, learning, and innovation.
