Process Engineer

Enersense Engineering Oy is currently looking for a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our client's team at a state-of-the-art biofuel production facility in Bergen, Norway. You will play a key role in optimizing plant operations and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable production. Start of the project is in February 2026 and the duration will be 12 months, position ideal for a driven individual with a passion for renewable energy and experience in chemical or bio-process engineering.Main tasks and responsibilities:Oversee daily process operations at the biofuel facilityLead continuous improvement projects focused on process reliability, safety, and sustainabilityCollaborate with maintenance, operations and laboratory teams to troubleshoot process issuesSupport the commissioning and testing of new equipment or process modificationsMaintain compliance with environmental, health and safety regulationsProvide technical leadership and guidanceReport on plant performance and contribute to strategic planning and reporting cyclesRequirements:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or related fieldPrevious experience in process engineering industry, ideally in the biofuels, oil & gas or energy sectorDemonstrated leadership capabilities—project coordination or supervisory experienceStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of industrial safety and environmental compliance standardsGood English skills, Nordic language skills considered as a benefitDon't meet all the requirements?
