Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Process Engineer who is collaborative, solution-oriented, and detail-driven to join our Process Engineering team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.About The RoleYou will be at the heart of clinical manufacturing, supporting the transfer, scale-up, and execution of biologics and rAAV processes. You’re going to help shape how UCB brings biotech innovations to life—efficiently, compliantly, and at scale.Who You Will Work WithYou will collaborate closely with process development, manufacturing teams and quality assurance to ensure seamless tech transfer (facility-fit, scale-up, mass balance and process documentation). In addition you will collaborate with global engineering and qualification to define user requirements for new equipment and/or single-use assemblies. You will also interact with regulatory, and authorities during audits.What You Will DoYou will ensure technology transfers from development to clinical manufacturing.You will be responsible for drafting SOPs, risk assessments, and process documentation.You will define equipment design and will support the qualification process for new equipment and/or, and single-use assembly.You will act as a subject matter expert for biologics and rAAV manufacturing.You will analyze manufacturing data and contribute to campaign reports and knowledge systems.You will drive digitalization, process optimization, and tech innovation across the plant.Interested?For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:You hold a Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.You have 3+ years of experience in biologics drug substance manufacturing.You bring strong problem-solving skills for process and facility challenges.You are able to prioritize projects and optimize resources effectively.You adapt quickly to changing timelines and apply learnings across projects.You are fluent in both French and English.Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
