Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe section to handle is: Middle of Line/OSA assembly which includes optical alignment processes and passive attach of optical components. Responsible for making sure process yield target and UPH target are met and are in control. Manages current product ramp up, making sure processes are ready, qualified and documented and in control. Manages new product transfer, making sure process are ready, qualified and documented. Conduct DFM, FMEA. Settle process and quality issues in Middle of Line/OSA assembly. Process capability/CPK improvement projects. Yield improvement/scrap reduction projects. HPU/UPH improvement projects, Cost saving projects. Handles Engineers and Technician. Education & ExperienceA Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Electrical) or its equivalents with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in electronics/semicon manufacturing specifically on process engineering. Experience in optical alignment/ optical sub assembly is highly preferred. SkillsLeadership capabilities to manage a team of > 15 Engineers and >15 technicians. Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving. Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. Expert in SPC, DOE, FMEA, DFM.
