Job DescriptionDTU Nanolab is one of the largest fair access micro- and nano-fabrication facilities in Europe and we are currently expanding our cleanroom facility. In our cleanroom facility we work with state-of-the-art semiconductor fabrication technology for both research and small-scale production. Research and production are typically related to photonics, MEMS/NEMS and quantum technology.As a process engineer you will be part of the Fabrication Support team at DTU Nanolab. You will advise students and other users on process related topics, and you will train users to use advanced semiconductor fabrication systems in the cleanroom. You will also work with industry partners that wish to realize micromachined devices in our facility. In this case you will design and execute fabrication processes necessary to realize the customer device.The jobA significant part of your working day will be spent in the DTU Nanolab cleanroom. We are looking for a person who already has substantial experience in advanced micro-fabrication in a cleanroom environment. You should enjoy helping and teaching students and other facility users to operate advanced tools. You have great attention to detail and a structured approach to developing and fine-tuning micro-device fabrication processes.Our expectations of youWe expect that you have a master or PhD in engineering, physics or similar technical relevant.
