Process Manager

Job Title: ERP Manager – Freight Forwarding (Oracle, Finance, Automation & MIS)Reporting To: Managing DirectorCollaborates With: Business Teams, Operations Department, Finance TeamRole Summary:We are seeking a strategic and empathetic ERP Manager to lead the Oracle ERP system across freight forwarding operations. This role demands full ownership of ERP workflows, strong business acumen, and a deep understanding of global finance compliance. The ideal candidate will be process driven, automation-savvy, MIS-proficient, and highly collaborative with business, operations and finance teams to drive process excellence.Key Responsibilities:ERP & Workflow Ownership:* Manage and maintain all ERP master data, configurations, and workflows.* Design freight forwarding-specific business process flows in collaboration with business, operations and finance.* Develop exception monitoring reports, to identify process non-compliance. * Ensure ERP scalability and alignment with business growth, compliance, and operational needs.Cross-Functional Collaboration:* Work closely with the Head of Operations and operational teams to align ERP with real-world logistics workflows.* Partner with finance to ensure accurate inter-office and inter-branch accounting and compliance.* Act as a bridge between business needs and technical capabilities.User Engagement & Empathy-Driven Support:* Engage with end users to understand challenges and improve ERP usability.* Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support with a people-first approach.* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.Finance, Compliance & Global Coordination:* Ensure ERP supports global financial compliance and multi-branch operations.* Oversee invoicing, revenue recognition, cost allocation, and reconciliation processes.* Maintain audit readiness and support internal controls across geographies.Automation & AI-Driven Optimization:* Implement AI-powered tools for invoice processing, bank reconciliation, and reporting.* Identify and execute automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.* Stay updated on emerging ERP technologies and automation trends.MIS & Analytics:* Develop and maintain MIS dashboards and reports for leadership decision-making.* Analyze ERP data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.* Present actionable insights to the MD and leadership team.Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Logistics, or related field.* 5+ years of ERP management experience, preferably with Oracle in a freight forwarding context.* Strong understanding of global finance compliance, inter-office accounting, and freight operations.* Proven experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.* Familiarity with AI tools for automation (OCR, RPA, reconciliation engines).Preferred Skills:* Oracle ERP (Cloud or EBS) – Financials, SCM, Logistics modules.* Workflow design, master data governance, and process mapping.* Freight documentation, costing, and multi-branch operations.* Empathy-driven leadership, strong communication, and analytical thinking.Apply resume to mayuri.sarode@swiftcargo.comMention email subject [ERP Manager -"LOCATION"]ThanksSwift Cargo - HR
