It's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly changing world.About The RoleThe Process Manufacturing Engineer is responsible designs, develops, tests, and analyzes technical products, leveraging their experience to suggest improvements in quality and procedures. They mentor engineers and technicians, apply advanced engineering principles to large projects, and participate in conferences to resolve significant issues. Additionally, they develop and support processes for LAN cable products, focusing on continuous improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency, while proposing and implementing cost reduction and product enhancement ideas.ResponsibilitiesLead projects required to improve product performance, cost, waste, quality, safety, efficiency and qualify equipment to support business growth.Leads continuous improvement activities such as Lean/6 sigma teams.Develop presentations and training materials supporting processing improvements and deliver training sessions.Design tooling and mechanical parts, assist in the development of equipment specifications and creation of justification for capital expenditures.Attend Value Stream Daily Management team meetings to address technical problems. Lead root cause analysis process and investigations, developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Develop experimental tests plan, document, and coordinate the manufacture of prototypes, perform product/process evaluations, present results using statistical techniques and implement optimized solutions.Create and manage project plan, lead team, and periodically report on project and activity to indicate progress relative to plan. Prepares and delivers presentations to managements as required.Develop optimized Process Standards and procedures such as One Point Lesson, Standard Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.Provides manufacturing support related to new product introduction and sustainability. Contributes on new product teams to bring product to the market in a timely manner while assuring quality and manufacturability of process and product.Performs Cost/Benefit analyses for new and improved processes and/or products.QualificationsProficiency with CAD (SolidWorks preferred)Proficiency in using advanced statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data for sophisticated, data-driven decision-making.Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing complex processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, including advanced improvements.Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving complex process-related issues by identifying root causes, developing innovative solutions, and implementing corrective actions.Advanced skills in planning, executing, and managing larger-scale projects, setting goals, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion, often with greater scope and complexity.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholdersAble to guide, inspire, and influence others towards achieving common goals.
