About the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our friendly and collaborative team in Chatswood. In this bilingual position, you will be the main point of contact for our Chinese-speaking clients and play a key role in supporting logistics operations across the Asia–Pacific region. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, and a solid understanding of the freight forwarding industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platformsProvide accurate updates on shipment status, booking confirmations, and documentation requirementsLiaise with internal teams (operations, customs, transport) to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and clearancesMonitor cargo movement via shipping line systems and update clients proactivelyPrepare and review shipping documents including bills of lading, invoices, and packing listsEnsure compliance with international trade and customs regulationsHandle service issues and customer complaints with professionalism and efficiencyMaintain accurate client records and support the sales team with quotations and account follow-upIdentify service gaps and suggest process improvementsWhat We’re Looking ForFluent in both Mandarin and English – verbal and written communication3–5 years’ experience in customer service within the freight forwarding or logistics industryExcellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Asia–Pacific trade lanes (especially China–AU/NZ) is an advantageConfident working independently and within a small teamPositive, can-do attitude and professional work ethicWhat You’ll GetSalary range $70,000 – $100,000 + Super (commensurate with experience)Supportive and experienced team environmentStable full-time role with long-term career potentialChatswood office with great public transport accessExposure to international logistics markets and operationsApply NowIf you’re a skilled logistics professional with a passion for customer service and fluent Mandarin, we’d love to hear from you!?
