Job Description

Key Responsibilities:  ·      Manage the procurement and planning teams in department goals and objectives.·      Secure that the MRP/MPS function is properly running and controlled as per group guidelines.·      Ensure group procedures related to the procurement and planning function are maintained in all tasks.·      Act as a company representative while negotiating contracts and supplier policies. ·      Work with the supply chain analyst to review and complete the annual purchase budget and update monthly estimates.·      Ensure materials and products are received on time and intact, and in the Quality standard of AVK.·      Take steps to ensure inventory is managed within budget and stock parameters are controlled.·      Look for opportunities to reduce and optimize costs while maintaining the agreed service levels to customers.·      Draft weekly and monthly reports related to overall department objectives.·      Manage vendors and conduct business reviews to ensure improved vendor performance.·      Responsible for the function’s tactical implementation plan dedicated to ensuring department goals and objectives are achieved.·      Control cost and expenses within the function and secure actions on cost optimization initiatives.·      Manage contracts and framework agreements with vendors and service providers.Qualification:·      BSc degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or other related major.·      Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and procurement role, or a relevant managerial position.·      Solid understanding of ERP / MRP systems (business solution systems for material requirement and capacity requirements, supporting financial reporting).·      Solid understanding of INCO terms and logistics activities.·      Solid understanding of supply chain management practices and procedures.·      Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.·      Demonstrating strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.·      Multi-tasking capability in a fast-paced environment.
