Job DescriptionAs a Procurement Buyer, here at Honeywell, you will manage strategic procurement activities, oversee complex projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize practices, enhance profitability, and secure a reliable supply chain. You will report directly to our Sr Procurement Buyer Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Bucharest location on a hybrid work schedule (3 days from the office and 2 days from home).HoneywellHoneywell Industrial Automation enables our customers to run safer and more efficient operations. From refineries to distribution centers to retail stores, we help deliver results while improving worker safety and meeting sustainability goals such as reduced carbon emissions – by leveraging connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, process automation and asset performance management solutions.We Enable our Customers to Enhance the Safety, Sustainability, Resilience and Productivity of their People, Plants, and Assets.ResponsibilitiesMonitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stock as needed, forecast inventory needs based on sales projections and operational requirements.Collaborate with suppliers to facilitate negotiations that meet both the organization’s and suppliers’ needs, collaborate with internal stakeholders for feedback and re-planning.Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance meets contractual standards. Monitor supplier performance metrics and conduct assessments to ensure adherence to service level agreements Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.Work closely with internal departments such as engineering, production, and finance to align procurement strategies with organizational goals, participate in cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and operational enhancements.QualificationsAt least Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Fluent English (French or German is a big plus).Entry-level experience in procurement, purchasing, customer care, sales or supply chain management is preferred.Analytical skills to interrogate and interpret data, excellent communication oral and written and negotiation skills, strong self-organization skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel.We OfferCompetitive Salary regularly increased based on your performanceEnjoy 25 vacation days per year, plus extra days off for life's special eventsMeal vouchersFlexible benefits basket with monthly budget allocated (top up medical insurance, life insurance, pension, vacation/ cultural/ fuel vouchers)Medical Insurance Plan paid by the companyChristmas and Easter bonuses Equal opportunity statementWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
