VIEXAL S.A. is searching for its headquarters in Marousi a Procurement Category Buyer.Viexal S.A. is the exclusive in-house supply chain provider for a group of metals manufacturing companies that belong to Viohalco. With more than 30 years of experience, Viexal procures secondary raw materials, services, projects and equipment, spare parts and consumables. Also, organizes the efficient unimodal, intermodal or multimodal transportation (Road, Sea, Rail, Inland waterway, Air) of primary and secondary raw materials, spare parts, manufactured goods, ADR and project cargo.The Procurement Category Buyer will be responsible for the whole supply life cycle and purchasing activities of selected procurement categories. The successful candidate is expected to monitor market developments, prices, indexes, performance, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Responsibilities: Identify cost-saving opportunities in cooperation with internal customersImplementation of Procurement Strategy for selected procurement categories.Develop expert-level market knowledge of selected material and services categories.Follow market developments and technological innovations.Lead vendor selection, negotiation process, contracts and life cycle for group-wide contracts and purchases.Qualifications:Strong academic background preferably in the field of Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management.Excellent verbal and written communications skills both in Greek and English languageMBA or Post Graduate degree will be considered a plus.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:3-8 years of experience in procurement with a sound knowledge of procurement best practices, policies and toolsWork experience in the field of procurement ideally in the categories of engineering services, construction, and engineering parts.To be successful in this role, you’ll also be expected to have good project management capabilities paired with excellent execution skills and the ability to multitask.Track record of working well on cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teamsProficiency with SAP (MM) & MS Office Suite.Experience in procurement transformation or transformation projects in general will be considered a plus.Above all, we’re looking for people who embrace challenges, grasp opportunities for growth, and demonstrate strong leadership in managing both projects and people.The Company Offers:A dynamic working environment that promotes equal opportunities for dynamic growth and personal developmentCompetitive remuneration packageLife & Health Insurance PlanAdditional Bonus, based on results.All CVs will be treated with high confidentiality
