This includes overseeing tendering and compliance processes, supporting senior management, and embedding best-practice procurement principles throughout the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic procurement advice and leadership to senior management and Council.Manage and coordinate public tendering processes in accordance with legislation and Council policies.Drive continuous improvement and reform in procurement practices.Promote and ensure best-practice, compliant procurement processes across the organisation.Build procurement capability by supporting, training and mentoring staff.Develop, implement and review procurement and contract management policies and procedures.Lead business improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and achieve long-term savings.Monitor, report, and analyse procurement activities to ensure accountability and efficiency.About You:Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Accounting, Commerce, Contract Management, Business Law, Project Management, or Procurement.Membership of CIPSA or similar recognised professional procurement body is highly desirable.Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining procurement systems in complex environments.Extensive knowledge in procurement, contract law, public tendering, and contract administration.If you are interested, apply now!
