Our client within real estate requires Procurement Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis. As the Procurement Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of purchase orders and contracts. Your duties will include:Purchase Order (PO) Management:Review, correct, and ensure all purchase orders are accurate, including correct item coding, full vendor details, and supporting documentation (e.g., estimates/quotes) to facilitate timely approvals.Proactively monitor PO submissions, ensuring approvals are completed promptly and according to established spending thresholds.Issue initial placeholder POs when firm work estimates are unavailable. Upon receipt of vendor invoices, modify the POs, route them for workflow approval, and ensure proper three-way matching.Create internal projects and jobs as needed, issue corresponding POs, and submit them for approval based on financial thresholds.Assist with monthly PO accruals and follow up with internal staff to confirm that open purchase orders are formally received once work is complete.Contract Management Support:Own and maintain the central Contract Log. Prepare thorough contract cost analyses, comparing prior contractual amounts to new quotes provided by internal stakeholders.Draft contracts and payment schedules using approved internal templates.Administrative & Vendor Support:Manage the procurement mailbox, providing prompt and professional responses to vendor inquiries and addressing internal support needs.What You Bring (Qualifications)Proven experience ([Number]) years in a purchasing, procurement, or finance-related role, with a strong focus on PO and contract administration.Proficiency with ERP/financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.Exceptional precision and diligence in reviewing documentation and managing complex data.Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams.Skills: Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
