Procurement lead

Procurement Lead – Paris (H/F)We are looking for a Procurement Lead to support tendering and project execution activities within an international engineering and energy environment. The role is based in Paris and focuses on supplier management, sourcing strategy, and contract negotiations across multiple projects.Main ResponsibilitiesOperational ProcurementPrepare, update, and manage the procurement plan for tenders and projects.Execute supplier tendering processes in line with internal procedures (RFI, RFQ, e-sourcing).Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers.Ensure on-time sourcing and secure competitive commercial and contractual conditions.Guarantee supplier compliance with internal quality, safety, and process requirements.Maintain documentation and ensure updated supplier records in the system.Supply Chain ManagementMaintain and update the approved supplier database.Monitor supplier performance and manage non-conformities and corrective actions.Support sourcing activities across multiple regions and categories.Procurement Processes & ImprovementContribute to continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes.Participate in purchasing optimisation and digitalisation initiatives.Perform risk analysis, market analysis, and spend analysis for tenders and projects.Provide procurement support during tender phases including sourcing strategy and supplier pricing.Profile RequiredUniversity degree or equivalent experience.CIPS qualification or equivalent is preferred.Proven experience in project procurement within a multi-project or engineering environment.Experience working in an international procurement environment.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Solid understanding of procurement processes and commercial practices.Ability to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, assets, commercial, finance).Fluent in English (written and spoken).Additional InformationPosition based in Paris.Involvement in strategic procurement activities for international projects.Interfaces with internal teams including Engineering, Projects, Assets, Commercial, Cost Control, and Finance.
