A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Procurement Manager with a focus on Continuous Improvement, you will be a key driver of operational excellence across procurement functions. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to identify inefficiencies, implement strategic improvements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives and influence change across the organization. In this role you will report to the Global Procurement Director.You Will Make an Impact By:Lead continuous improvement initiatives within Procurement to align with strategic business goalsAnalyze and optimize end-to-end procurement processes (sourcing, supplier onboarding, procure-to-pay)Define and deliver improvement strategies, including stakeholder engagement and change managementPartner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve cost, quality, and delivery KPIsLead cross-functional project teams focused on driving measurable cost savings and efficiencyConduct Lean/Six Sigma training and workshops for procurement and supply chain teamsMaintain reports, track KPIs, and present progress to senior managementTravel Requirements: Up to 30% of Travel is requiredSkills You Bring:A Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Masters preferred5+ years experience leading and managing continuous improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of procurement and supplier management processesProven success leading CI initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) that delivered measurable resultsStrong analytical, communication, and project management skillsAbility to influence and collaborate across departments and levelsAdvanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle)Preferred Skills: Certified Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt). Experience in automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments. Track record of achieving cost savings and procurement process optimizationPhysical Demands and Working Conditions:This role is located in Querétaro, Qro. Mexico, with a full time job. This role requires a five-day office attendance. It involves administrative work that, according to the law, necessitates 40 hours of work per week. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Transportation: Please note that we do not provide transportation services. Therefore, individuals are responsible for arranging their daily commute to the office.
