We are a leading company in the development of advanced wind turbines and energy storage systems, as well as software solutions that are capable of managing energy assets on a global scale. As the Procurement Manager of Europe, you will be responsible for key strategic procurement activities for new projects on international projects, including wind farms and battery energy storage systems. The Project Procurement Manager must coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during the procurement phase in order to plan and deliver accurate and cost-effective solutions, enabling Envision to be competitive, whilst also being in a position to deliver projects successfully across the European Region.Key responsibilities:GeneralDeveloping sound, cost-effective strategies for project procurement and strategic procurement, and ensure timely delivery of procurement budgets, enabling Envision to be competitive in terms of the subcontract portfolio, whilst also being in a position to deliver the project successfullyCoordination and liaison with other internal departments as part of the procurement process, including sales and project managementGuarantee the quality and accuracy of the procurement scopeEnsure the correct identification, assessment and quantification of all the potential subcontractor and suppliers related to the procurement scopeFacilitates the correct handover to project execution team for the management of the procured scopeDeployment of Envision ERP tools (Ariba SAP) and processes which enable the P2P processSales SupportDevelop relationships with suppliers and contractors with interests in Envision sales marketsFacilitate contract or consortium agreement negotiation and scope clarification with suppliers and contractorsDevelop with the support of technical team, standard interface documents for contractsSupplier DevelopmentContinuously develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors, identifying best local market opportunities within your assigned countries.Ensure contracts and terms, with support from Envision’s legal department, are favourable and fit for purposeConduct supplier reviews on completion of contractsMarket AnalysisMonitoring and communicating with management regarding the supplier marketConducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvementDeveloping risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of market changesWorking closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favourableProject ProcurementPrepare procurement management plans as requiredEnsure accuracy of tender documentation and tendersConduct reviews and prepare analysis for awarding decisionsAct as escalation point during project execution in case requiredQualification and expertise: Degree in relevant engineering or commerce qualificationMinimum 7 years’ experience in procurement and project management, preferably on renewable energy projects.Knowledge in project management methods and techniques, commercial management and supply managementExperience on procurement of EPC/BOP/Logistics in renewable industry is preferredExcellent IT skills including MS Office/Sharepoint and SAP Ariba.Excellent communication skills in English and French is essential, both verbally and written.
