Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact between the company and suppliers.Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.Evaluate suppliers using technical and commercial criteria.Source low-volume, high-mix components with long lead times and limited suppliers.Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with suppliers.Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.Process purchase orders and payments with proper justification for selected suppliers.Monitor and proactively resolve supply chain risks, delays, and quality issues.Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and project timelines.Support import/export documentation for special R&D parts and samples.Requirements:B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.Minimum 10 years of work experience, with 5–7 years in procurement/indirect purchase, preferably within Automotive OEMs.Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and basic costing principles.Familiarity with non-standard parts, custom fabrication, and lab equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proactive, multitasking, and focused on timely and cost-effective delivery.Strong interpersonal skills; must engage regularly with internal stakeholders and suppliers.Ability to work across multiple software platforms in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Eligibility Criteria:Academic Performance: Minimum 70% or equivalent CGPA in 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
