Focused on innovation and long-term growth, they are shaping the future of clean energy.What you can expect from usAs Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational procurement of large-scale battery storage projects. Working closely with engineering, project management, and external partners, you will ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective procurement — from market research and tendering to awarding contracts and preparing agreements.Procurement strategy & market analysisDevelopment and implementation of a cross-project procurement strategy for all relevant product groups and servicesContinuous monitoring and analysis of relevant markets and technologiesSupplier management & relationship managementBuilding and maintaining strategic partnerships with suppliers, general contractors, and subcontractorsConducting regular performance and quality reviewsTender & bidding phasePreparation of complete tender documents based on technical specifications and project requirementsManagement of the entire tendering process, including bid management, bidder communication, and support during contract negotiationsConducting commercial and technical bid analyses (in cooperation with engineering) and preparing well-founded award recommendationsOrder managementResponsibility for the full order process, including documentation, approvals, and handover to project management and financeWhat makes you stand outSuccessfully completed studies in engineering (e.g., civil engineering, industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification3–5 years of professional experience in strategic or technical procurement, ideally in energy infrastructure, photovoltaics, battery storage (BESS), EPC, or plant engineeringSolid experience managing complex tendering and procurement processes, plus strong market knowledge of relevant suppliers and componentsExcellent communication and negotiation skills in German and EnglishStructured, independent work style with high process reliability in contract and supplier managementProficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or AVA systems is a plusWillingness to travel within Germany (approx. 5–10%)Apply for this job directly or reach out to me at k.modi@brightsmithgroup.com
