We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our highly skilled and experienced purchasing team based in our Company's Head Office in Silverwater, New South Wales. About the RoleAs the Procurement Manager you will lead the Purchasing team and will be responsible for a number of strategic categories. This role reports into the Head of Purchasing and NPD.Key Responsibilities include:Provide leadership & management of the Purchasing teamStrategic Sourcing & Procurement - Lead sourcing & international buying across key procurement categories, including raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods. Develop sourcing strategies aligned with cost efficiency, innovation, risk mitigation and sustainability.Supplier & Contract Management – Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring ongoing value delivery and performance as well as pricing across global regions. Oversee procurement KPIs across quality, inventory holdings, DIFOT, responsiveness and commercial termsCross Functional Collaboration – Working closely with our demand planning team as well as other internal and external supply chain partners to achieve optimal outcomes for your categories. You will work closely with Finance to support forecasting, budget planning and price movement analysis. Collaboration on sourcing strategies that align with customer specific or channel driven needs across grocery and foodservice.Risk, Efficiency & Compliance - Implement process improvements across purchasing systems and tools to enhance data accuracy, cost control, and visibility and ensure supplier adherence to VFB quality, food safety, sustainability and regulatory requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for your function.
