We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager who will centralize and optimize all procurement activities for Direct, Indirect and CAPEX categories at SolTuna. The role will build and professionalize the procurement function, drive cost‑efficiencies and synergies, establish clear KPIs, manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with Bolton Food’s global procurement guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing & Category ManagementDevelop and implement procurement strategies for Direct, Indirect and CAPEX categories. Identify opportunities to consolidate supplier base, reduce SKUs and leverage volume discounts. Source suppliers for new product development, ensuring quality and cost targets are met.
Process Centralization & ProfessionalizationCentralize all purchasing procedures, policies and workflows across SolTuna. Define, document and train teams on standard operating procedures (SOPs). Establish and monitor procurement KPIs (e. g. cost savings, supplier lead‑times, PO cycle times). Supplier Relationship & Performance ManagementConduct annual supplier evaluations; classify and segment suppliers by risk, spend and performance. Develop risk‑mitigation plans, including business‑continuity and contingency sourcing strategies. Negotiate contracts and service‑level agreements to secure best‑in‑class terms. Operational Procurement & SystemsOversee end‑to‑end purchase order cycle: creation, approval, tracking and closure in Microsoft GP.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse and Quality teams to align procurement with production schedules and inventory levels. Resolve supplier issues—shipping delays, quality deviations or order discrepancies—to prevent production stoppages. Data, Reporting & Continuous ImprovementProvide market intelligence and analytics on supplier markets, pricing trends and benchmark data. Maintain an accurate supplier database; ensure ERP system cleanliness and data integrity. Lead or support ERP/system enhancement projects. Prepare monthly procurement reports for Bolton Food group reporting and internal budget/forecast cycles. Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional CollaborationGuide and mentor any supporting procurement staff; embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting and CAPEX approval processes. Liaise with Quality, Safety and Regulatory teams to ensure materials meet all industry and company standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and cultures. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Qualifications and Experiences: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement experience in FMCG, manufacturing or similar industries. Proven track record managing Direct, Indirect and CAPEX procurement categories. Strong negotiation skills and experience with long‑term supplier agreements. Proficiency in Microsoft GP, Excel; experience with SAP systems is highly desirable. Language and Location: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
