This is initially on a 14 month fixed term contract covering maternity.The role offers a great mix of end-to-end procurement responsibility, stakeholder engagement, and strategic input — ideal for someone looking to take ownership of key projects and develop within a structured, forward-thinking procurement team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end tender and procurement processes across multiple categoriesLead pre-market engagement, tendering, evaluation, and contract award activitiesDevelop category strategies and support commercial negotiations to ensure best valueProvide expert procurement and contract advice to internal stakeholdersMonitor supplier performance and manage key contractsPrepare and analyse procurement data to support reporting and continuous improvementContribute to e-procurement and process improvement initiativesSupport collaborative and cross-organisational procurement projectsAbout YouExperience managing tender processes in a public or regulated environmentCIPS qualified or working towards (MCIPS desirable)Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skillsConfident managing projects and engaging with stakeholders at all levelsExcellent organisational and communication skillsStrong commercial awareness and understanding of supply marketsGet in touch ASAP to find out more!
