About the companyTelwater is Australia’s largest manufacturer of trailered boats producing iconic brands such as Quintrex, Stacer, and Yellow Fin Plate boats.About the role:Telwater is seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team based in Coomera. As a key member of the Purchasing department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our procurement processes.This is a permanent full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. Our office hours are 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.Duties include:Proactively coordinate with suppliers and production teams to ensure appropriate levels of inventory and raw materials are available in a timely and accurate manner to fulfil production requirementsMaintain supplier relationships and communication to track and confirm delivery schedulesCollaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on procurement matters.Identifying cost-saving and new product opportunitiesMaintaining accurate records of procurement activities to facilitate reporting and analysis.What we are looking for:Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, warehouse administration or distribution role. Good understanding of, and experience in supply chain process and purchasing proceduresMeticulous and high attention to detailAbility to take direction but also work autonomouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProactive, driven and able to use initiativeIf you are passionate about driving excellence in procurement and contributing to the success of a dynamic organisation, we encourage you to apply for this role.Do you want to be valued and rewarded for your hard work?Employee of the Month awards and recognition.
