We are looking for a talented and motivated JESS Procurement Officer to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence in back-office support.Position: JESS Procurement OfficerLocation: Kingston, JamaicaAbout Us: JESS operates as a delivery center providing back-office support to KPMG United States. Our team members work closely with the Client's stakeholders under a team extension model to support various procurement processes, particularly in Strategic Sourcing. Join us and be part of a collaborative and innovative environment where your contributions make a significant impact.Job Summary:As a JESS Procurement Officer, you will facilitate and support the procurement process for indirect spend categories such as technology, publications, office supplies, branded merchandise, and more. Utilizing the Coupa P2P platform, you will manage both upstream contracting and downstream procure-to-pay processes. You will liaise with various departments (e.g., Legal, Risk, Finance, Brand, IT) to ensure compliance with firm standards and internal procedures.Key Responsibilities:Fulfill Clients’ purchase requests submitted through the Coupa P2P platform, Inquiry Xpress, and emails.Respond to general inquiries and direct purchase requests to Coupa.Conduct due diligence checks on requisitions to ensure all pre-requisites are met.Ensure requisitions are swiveled to One Trust once they meet established requirements.Submit suppliers and purchase amounts that meet risk checks to the appropriate teams for review.Educate and assist end users on submitting proper purchase requests and adhering to Firm policies.Identify and escalate areas for process improvements or increased efficiency.Liaise with various departments to ensure purchases meet firm standards and internal procedures.Support special initiatives and projects.Must-Have Skills and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement or Equivalent Professional Accreditation.Experience: At least two years of relevant work experience within Purchasing or Procurement or a similar process. Prior experience with Coupa or another Procurement system is preferred.Technical Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, prioritization skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates KPMG Values in daily interactions, customer-focused, driven, and can lead by example. Possesses the highest ethical standards, a strong moral compass, and a constant focus on doing what’s right. Willingness to learn and grow, and the ability to work across various job roles and activities with confidence.Leadership Skills: Builds productive work relationships with peers and stakeholders, demonstrates self-confidence and awareness of actions, takes ownership and accountability for work quality and outcomes, and takes the initiative to develop skills and competencies for personal advancement.Special Conditions:JESS uses a hybrid work model, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or in the office.
