IntroductionIBM Procurement organization is looking for operational support resources to work closely with Procurement buyers who procure products and/or services below a given clip level and search and find new sources of supply for low dollar constrained items, obtain proposals, and negotiates all in line with IBMs procurement commodity strategy. This role will work with the strategic sourcing buyers for Supplier Onboarding , Maintenance, Helping suppliers with tool and procurement queries and also offer guidance to procurement buyers when needed.Your Role And ResponsibilitiesSupplier Onboarding and Vetting Specialist (Latin America)Understanding of Source to contract and procure to pay fundamentalsUse order management systems and tools including SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, CAAPS, Bond, and CSA/SP&IBuild balanced supplier and client relationshipsDemonstrate basic negotiations, communication, and contract management skillsDesire to learn and take on challengesAbility to reimagine ways of working and promote new ideas to reduce workload while mitigating riskPrepare, send, and track routine agreements for supplier signing, including specific agreements like confidentiality, data privacy, and regional documents.Collaborate with the contract operations and sourcing teams to redline and finalize agreement terms. Load signed agreements into procurement systems and monitor agreement closure and expiration timelines.Provide support and guidance on procurement system processes and supplier onboarding.Prioritize requests from stakeholders and Manage workload to be able to meet deadlinesProcurement Helpdesk Agent (Latin America)Customer-focused and technically skilled helpdesk agent to provide first-level support to end-users seeking support related to procurement applications or invoicing.Preferred EducationBachelor's DegreeRequired Technical And Professional ExpertiseMinimum 2-3 years in procurement operations or vendor management with a strong understanding of Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes.Excellent Spanish & English communication skills, both written and spoken, with a client-facing approach.Proven ability to build balanced supplier and client relationships.Skilled in problem-solving, data organization, and reporting.Basic knowledge in negotiations, contract management, and communication.Eager to learn, adaptable to new challenges, and innovative in reimagining workflows to improve efficiency and risk management.Preferred Technical And Professional ExperienceOther language support needed would be a bonus: Portuguese.Nice to have: Familiarity with other procurement applications including Bond, CAAPS, SAP Ariba procure to pay, Oracle, ServiceNow.
