Join us.Job DescriptionThis opportunity is part of AECOM’s Fursa Program and open exclusively to UAE Nationals holding a valid family book.AECOM are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist, to be based in Abu Dhabi. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing to support organizational operations. This role plays a key part in optimizing supply chain efficiency, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.Responsibilities:Identify procurement needs across departments.Conduct market research to find reliable suppliers and compare offers.Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.Ensure all procured items meet quality and specification standards.Track procurement KPIs and generate performance reports.Maintain and update procurement records and documentation.Resolve supplier issues, including delivery delays and product discrepancies.Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to align procurement with company goals.Implement risk management strategies for supply contracts.Stay informed on market trends and pricing dynamics.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Eligibility: As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.Additional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
