Our client is a global outsourcing provider of integrated supply chain services associated with maintenance, repair and overhaul activities in large manufacturing facilities. They partner with leading multinational organisations, providing expert on-site solutions and fostering strong relationships with both clients and suppliers through effective communication and exceptional service. Currently, they are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team in Freiburg, Germany. In this role, you will report to the Site Lead and support the client in all aspects of the procurement, operating in a fast-paced and compliant environment. Job Profile for Procurement SpecialistResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Liaise with the engineers and different team membersSource supplies for clients and provide quotesAcquire purchase orders from clients to support the quoteCreate sales ordersMatch client purchase orders to sales orders and dispatch invoicesOrder from suppliers and provide purchase order numbersMonitor all open orders for clients and follow up on items delayedInform clients of any delays or issues with daily, weekly and monthly reportsAdhere to strict deadlines and provide timely, accurate informationRun the MRP programReview the minimum and maximum levels and recommend amendments based on usage or criticalityProcess, record and report on Savings and Cost avoidanceProcess all Non-MRP (Adhoc) requestsComply with Health and Safety policy and proceduresCandidate Profile for Procurement SpecialistMust be fluent in German and English, both written and spokenProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essentialProficiency using ERP systems, SAP, and AribaProficiency in Microsoft Power BI Data Visualisation is an advantagePrevious Pharma and GMP experience is an advantageStrong procurement background with excellent administrative skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to multitask, work to deadlines and under pressureExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal skills and telephone mannerFlexible approach to all areas of the roleExcellent people skills with a focus on building and strengthening client relationshipsStrong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detailStrong problem-solving and creative skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysisHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientationWhat Our Client OffersAttractive compensation packageBe part of a company at the forefront of scientific innovation, making a real impact on global healthOpportunity to build your career in a dynamic, global company, with room for advancement and professional developmentOpportunity to join a talented team working in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere
