Job DescriptionAs a Procurement Specialist in this role, your primary responsibility will be the procurement of IT consulting services, managing both T&M engagements as well as delivery projects, from demand identification to contract sign-off. This role presents a valuable opportunity to contribute to Danske Bank’s IT strategy implementation, playing a vital part in cost optimization, compliance projects and category management.You will join our Indirect Services team of 8 persons, a global team that is part of Strategic Sourcing, situated in the Nordics and Lithuania. We manage the procurement of HR services, MarCom services and IT consulting services to the entire Danske Bank group.The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).Please apply as soon as possible, as we conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.You will:Engage daily with a variety of stakeholders, identifying and understanding their requirements and demands, and assist them in business case preparationsProcure mainly IT consulting services, both on a T&M basis as well as fixed price deliveries, focusing on commercial competitiveness, risk management specific to financial institutions, and overall expenditurePlan and execute sophisticated sourcing activities (RFx, tender, etc.) in line with industry standardsAct as a project manager, guiding and supporting stakeholders through different processes and aspectsFacilitate commercial and contractual negotiations, working closely with specialists from Legal, Compliance, Performance Management and IT Security, to ensure alignment with business needs and Group policiesIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reductions on a regular and proactive basis (e.g. supplier rationalization, demand management)Present larger sourcing cases to managementAbout you:3 – 5 years of experience in IT consulting services procurement and/or Indirect procurement, with a solid understanding of procurement processes and functionsSolid negotiation and contract drafting skills, including knowledge in IT, basic legal terms and contractual obligationsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders, vendors and senior managementDemonstrated experience in project and program management, with a focus on the implementation and delivery of resultsExperience in sourcing IT consultancy in a global / Nordic perspective would be appreciated, as well as knowledge of outsourcing / DORA / TPRM processes in the financial sectorAdvanced English language skills"We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view.
