The start date is ASAP for this 4 month contract position with potential for conversion.Job Title: Procurement SpecialistLocation-Type: Hybrid in Northbrook, ILStart Date Is: ASAPDuration: 4 Month Contract (potential conversion)Compensation Range: $40-$44/hr W2Job Description:The Procurement Specialist will support sourcing, supplier onboarding, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement operations.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Manage supplier onboarding, system integration, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.Lead RFQ/RFI processes, supplier selection, and contract reviews.Negotiate supplier service level agreements and ensure compliance.Act as primary relationship manager for assigned supplier commodities.Maintain and expand sources of supply while promoting competitive options.Stay current on industry trends, new products, and market developments.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize cost, delivery, and quality outcomes.Requirements:Must-Haves:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.2+ years of procurement experience.Proficiency in Excel for spend/market data analysis.Experience with Oracle ERP systems (preferred).Strong sourcing and supplier management expertise.Knowledge of purchasing principles and contract law.Demonstrated negotiation skills.Experience leading medium-complexity sourcing teams.Nice-to-Haves:Additional certifications in supply chain or procurement.Exposure to global sourcing strategies.Benefits:This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan.
