This role involves working with European and non-European suppliers, ensuring timely sourcing, accurate documentation, and compliance with internal standards. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about optimizing processes, this position offers an excellent opportunity to grow in a dynamic, international environment.Join us as Procurement SpecialistResponsibilities Manage daily procurement operations for merchandise goods from European and non-European suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing. Issue purchase orders and handle order acknowledgments to maintain accurate procurement records. Book goods receipts in the system and manage discrepancy claims with suppliers to ensure inventory accuracy. Resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with finance and suppliers. Conduct regular performance reviews and analyses to assess procurement efficiency and supplier reliability. Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and workflow optimization. Collaborate with Customer Care, PSI Planning, Warehouse Manager, and Strategic Supplier Management on supplier performance evaluations. Provide timely updates on delivery status and lead times to internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with J-SOX controls and internal audit standards. Requirements:Solid understanding of procurement processes, PO lifecycle, and supplier evaluation. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing department Practical experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management for merchandise goods. Proficiency in SAP MM and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong MS Excel skills and ability to calculate landed costs and perform cost analysis. Working knowledge of comparing supplier quotes and evaluating pricing, delivery terms, and service quality. Good command of English (written and spoken). Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration skills and customer-focused approach. University degree, preferably in logistics or business.
