This role is essential in ensuring cost-effective procurement, supplier reliability, and alignment with our production timelines and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:Review and process purchase requests from internal departmentsConduct market research and identify potential suppliers, especially for mining-related equipment and servicesEvaluate quotations and prepare comparative analysis reportsNegotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliersMaintain and update supplier database and performance recordsCollaborate with warehouse, finance, and site operations to ensure procurement aligns with inventory and production needsTrack orders and coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveryPrepare procurement reports including cost analysis and supplier performance metricsAttend trade shows and exhibitions to stay informed on industry trends and innovationsPerform additional tasks as requested by the Head of Procurement Requirements:Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 2–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industriesStrong negotiation and analytical skillsProficient in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to liaise with China-based suppliersFamiliarity with import/export procedures and freight coordinationTech-savvy with experience in procurement systems and Excel-based analysisDetail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindsetWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and rewardsOpportunities for career growth within a dynamic industryCollaborative and inclusive work cultureExposure to strategic sourcing and supply chain optimization
