Procurement Team Leader (Agriculture/Manufacturing) – Athi-River, KenyaOur client, a leading producer and supplier of high-quality animal feed, is seeking a Procurement Team Leader to lead the procurement function. This role will ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of spare parts, packaging, and other company inputs, with a strong emphasis on international trade compliance and ERP-driven processes. The position is critical in securing reliable suppliers, maintaining optimal stock levels, and supporting production, quality, and compliance across the organization.Key Responsibilities.Develop and implement procurement strategies and purchase plans aligned with company objectives.Source and evaluate local and international suppliers, negotiate contracts, and foster long-term strategic partnerships.Oversee import and export activities, ensuring full compliance with KEBS, KRA, and other regulatory requirements.Manage procurement budgets, monitor market trends, and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.Maintain ERP-driven procurement records, ensuring accurate documentation, audit trails, and reporting.Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Quality teams to align procurement with business needs.Monitor supplier performance through regular audits, ensuring quality, reliability, and timely delivery.Manage risks related to supply chain continuity, inventory levels, and compliance, while ensuring minimal stock-outs.Qualifications.Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.5-10 years’ work experience in a procurement role.Hands-on experience with the Import of manufacturing goods such as Spare parts and other inputs.Solid understanding of procurement processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, with knowledge of animal feed ingredients as an added advantage.Proficient in MS Excel, inventory, analytical and procurement systems.Salary: Gross Monthly Salary: KSH130,000- 150,000Location: Athi-River, KenyaCareer Level: Mid-LevelJob Type: Full-TimeDeadline for applications: 15/12/2025
