All mechanical, electrical and plant equipment is kept in good working order.Functional Accountabilities Achieves optimal operating efficiency by closely adhering to procedures detailed in the technical maintenance manualManage facility operations, energy consumption, and maintenance of the facilities infrastructure & buildingAnalyse and monitors POMEC operations and expenditures of the hotelReceive and analyse feedback information from other administration departments in his hotel for recommending to the Director new policies and procedures for economical operation and maintenanceManage work order and effectively scheduling tasks and trackingManage all Preventive corrective and predictive maintenance of the property and assetsPlan and oversee renovations and constructionAct fast to resolve emergency issues Lead, motivate and monitor a team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipmentEnsure Engineering team are trained and competent for operations and maintenance of the buildingMaintain budgets, expenses and activity logsProviding functional assistance and direction to engineering personnelManage relationships with contractors and service providersDeliver excellent guest serviceAware of and adhere to the Fire and Life Safety standards of the Company ensuring to report any risks to ManagementAny other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directedExperience and Technical KnowledgeExperience in Facility Management, particularly within 5-star hotel environments, would be an advantageDegree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with 5 years’ experience of which 2 years should be as Producer Engineering in a 5 star hotelHas a knowledge of and operate hotel security and emergency proceduresProactive, quick thinking and adept at identifying and fixing maintenance issuesAbility to build good relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective outcomes for the businessAbility to work well under pressureA team player, working hand in hand with other departments
