The opportunityWe're currently looking for a Product Certification Leader to join our Product Certification and Requirements team within Quality department. In this role, you will ensure timely and successful certification of the products for all applicable markets. This will facilitate legal start of production and support registration of vehicles. You will be working closely with stakeholders in Europe, North America, China and Asia Pacific.This position is located at Polestar Headquarters, Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.The ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will manage certification activities within vehicle programs, ensuring effective alignment between project teams and the PCR function. You will interact with authorities to plan and carry out approvals, support market-specific registration needs, advise internal teams on compliance matters, and collaborate with production sites to secure required documentation.Main Responsibilities IncludeLead certification related tasks in projects on high level and secure interaction between project and PCR teamDrive dialogue with authority representatives regarding planning and execution of certificationsCoordinate with market representatives to support local registration and take in special local requirementsSupport internal stakeholders with interpretation of legal requirements.The ideal candidateTo be a great fit for this role, we are searching for you who are accurate and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage tasks such as authority applications with precision. You are an excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex regulatory topics across all levels.
