Product Design/Development-Research Specialist

Job DescriptionAssist electronic engineers in conducting laboratory tests for hardware and software components.Support the development and execution of test plans, ensuring thorough testing of electronic products.Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze test results and provide feedback for design improvements.Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of electronic circuits and systems during the testing phase.Document test procedures, results, and any issues encountered, providing clear reports for further analysis.Guide and supervise external laboratories and suppliers in executing testing protocols.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during testing processes.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in testing methodologies.Lead or participate in the development of automated/semi-automated testing and measurement fixtures.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering or a related field.Strong practical experience in electronic testing, including both hardware and software components.Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design principles.Experience with laboratory testing equipment and tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, electronic load and data recorder.Good understanding of the electronics manufacturing process and quality assurance practices.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders.Proficient in spoken and written English for technical documentation and communication.
