A leader who will help shape the ideal conditions for the continued growth of our product and strengthen its position as a global frontrunner in the Weight-Loss & Wellbeing market.Who you are:You have hands on experience developing and evolving design team practices and processes - you know what great looks like and how to get there.You have a proven track record of hiring, developing, and managing the performance of senior product designersYou are a natural leader who enjoys building a team, and you also wade in and get your hands dirty with IC design work when neededYou value working quickly, iteratively and collaboratively over getting everything perfect right awayYou are an effective communicator with strong presentation and collaboration skills across disciplines.You can maintain collaboration while working asynchronously and remotely.You have an ownership mentality - when you see something that's broken, you fix it.Key Responsibilities:Shape ways of working:build, maintain, and scale effective design processes and healthy team culture for smooth collaboration across squads and the product team;Grow the team: develop designers’ core and adjacent skills, and maintain clear growth frameworks like career ladders and competency maps;Build collaboration: drive cross-team rituals – brainstorms, hackathons, workshops – to strengthen creativity and culture;Champion design:protect and elevate design culture so it remains a strategic pillar across the product organisation;Align processes: unify and optimise design workflows, ensure transparent delivery, and remove bottlenecks across squads;Own the pipeline: manage the design backlog end to end, from prioritisation and capacity planning to cross-team alignment;Evolve the system: maintain and advance the design system so patterns stay relevant, scalable, and consistently adopted;Design with AI: integrate AI deeply into product flows as a core experience, not an add-on;Apply gamification: use gamification mechanics and user psychology to build engaging, behaviour-shaping experiences;Think deeply: apply strong critical thinking, user insight, and market awareness to guide product decisions.What we’re looking for:A strong candidate has 5+ years of experience working on world-class B2C product;Proven experience leading a Design Team of 5+ people, with a track record of growing and empowering talent;Strong expertise in building, scaling, and optimizing Product Design processes across squads and cross-functional teams;High emotional intelligence, deep empathy, and a genuine passion for developing designers through thoughtful, systematic team leadership;Experience with Health & Fitness apps is a nice plus;Proficient in leveraging UX research and data analytics to inform and validate design decisions;Strong skills in modern mobile product design, with a focus on AI integration and gamification;A data-driven mindset with a passion for rapid experimentation and iterative improvement.Perks and Benefits:Open-minded teams, a welcoming and inclusive company culture, plus the opportunity to make a real difference with a game-changing health tech product;A competitive salary package based on your unique expertise, skillset, and impact on the product plus stock options;In-office, remote and hybrid work opportunities;Relocation package (Cyprus) - optional;The equipment whatever you need to be happy and productive;A premium SIMPLE subscription;21 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (those observed where you live);Flexible hours.
